Cherished Wings Benefit

Cherished Wings will be having a pasta and meatball benefit at the Grand Gardens (Old Union Hall) on Dennis Street on Tuesday, September 14th. Cherished Wings is a group that cares for and rescues unwanted birds. They currently have 100 birds in their care to house and feed, among other things.

Blood Pressure Clinic
Where: Heart And Stroke Foundation
If you have a problem with your blood pressure, there is a free blood pressure clinic every Thursday at the Heart and Stroke Foundation from 1-5pm. The office is located in the Jewel of the Mile Shopping Centre on Great Northern Road. Call the office for more at 253-3775.
